Unkind Thoughts

I am busy stuffing things in drawers and closets as I try to make my
house presentable for the photographer tomorrow. These are the
instructions the realtor gave me:

STAGING your Home for the Photographer & MAXIMIZING Buyer Appeal

1. Clean off all counters. No dishes, drainers, or towels hanging. .

2. Remove pictures, etc from Refrigerator

3. Pet bowls & kennels should not be visible.

4. Tablecloths & placemats should be removed

5. Throw pillows & afghans need to be removed from sofas & chairs.

6. All items taped to walls, like notes, calendars & children art,
should be removed

7. Bright colored small area rugs should be removed (example- in front
of stove or sink)

8. All accessories that are red or white draw excess attention &
should be eliminated from pictures.

9. Avoid clutter. The only items touching the floor should be the
furniture. (in general)

10. Space furniture in a way that makes the room appear most spacious.
Stand back, look at your room as a whole, your eye should flow
smoothly, nothing distracting or calling excess attention to a
specific item or accessory.
