Frisco - Then & Now
After I left Central Park on Saturday morning, I drove up to Frisco's Main Street. I wanted to take a look at the office where the doctor I found on my insurance company's website practices. I parked the car and walked down the street to his office. My Beaumont doctors have been no help at all in recommending doctors in Frisco. The one I found in Aetna's database is board certified in internal medicine. He seems to be the right age--old enough to be experienced but not too old. What really attracted me is that he is a graduate of the University of Kansas Medical School. I am a K.U. graduate so I know he must be a good guy. I also found several people recommending him on the Frisco Online forums.
On the way to his office I took several pictures on Main St.: Main St. & Frisco Square. I noticed the old City Hall building. The city government quite recently moved into the new City Hall at Frisco Square. The above pictures are of the old and new city halls. The old building is very small and now has a for sale sign on it. After looking at the doctor's office building and deciding the parking lot is adequate, I drove to Frisco Square and took some more pictures. Frisco Square is just off of Main St. at the Dallas North Parkway. Pizza Hut Park is located across Main Street from Frisco Square. There is also a Dr. Pepper Park. One is the home of the Frisco AA baseball team and the other is the home of the soccer team. I am not sure I know which is which. I am not much of a sports fan.
By then it was close to lunch time. I drove to the Ikea store which has a Swedish restaurant. The food is fairly good and very inexpensive. I like their salads and desserts. If my new refrigerator is not delivered on September 9, I may find myself eating quite a few meals at the Ikea store.
