How Silly or Maybe It Isn't

I am watching the appliance sales very closely so I will find the best prices for the refrigerator, washer and dryer that I am going to buy. A couple of months ago I sorted through the many models of GE Profile refrigerators and had decided on one. To my dismay this refrigerator is no longer on the Sears website. I went through the search on the GE website and found there is now an identical model. The old model number ended in SBB. The new model ends in TBB. It is just my luck that it is model change season. The list price on the new one is the same as the old price. I compared the specifications and find that the new model has something called "Precise Fill". I searched Google for GE and precise fill. I found that this means that a precise measurement of water is delivered from the dispenser. I thought this was ridiculous. Then I thought it might save the trouble of measuring water when you are cooking. It might be a good feature after all,
