Cold This Morning

I had an early appointment to get my haircut this morning. There was frost on the roofs of the houses on my street. Cars that sat outside all night had to have their windshields scraped before they could be driven. My hairdresser told me she had to throw hot water on her windshield. I told her she obviously had not grown up in the north. I explained that if you put water on your windshield you would just have more ice in a really cold climate. It is supposed to warm up today. There is no chance of a white Christmas down here.
