Goodbye 2005

You were an awful year. Please do not come back. The tsunami was technically in 2004, but the suffering and unbelievable loss of life were felt most severely in 2005. The whole Gulf Coast from Florida to Texas was hit by Dennis, Katrina, Rita and Wilma. Then the earthquake killed so many people in Pakistan. The horrid war in Iraq has taken so many Iraqi and American lives. We learned more about the incompetence and deceit of the Bush Administration. I can find very little good to say about 2005. I hold onto the hope that 2006 will be a better year.
